Study: Happiest Wives in America Are Religious Conservatives

A new report on marriage, families, and faith concludes that the happiest wives in America happen to be religious conservatives.

The authors of a new report, researchers W. Bradford Wilcox, Jason S. Carroll and Laurie DeRose, came to the conclusion after studying “women who report above-average satisfaction, commitment, closeness and stability in their relationships.”

“It turns out that the happiest of all wives in America are religious conservatives,” they write. “Fully 73 percent of wives who hold conservative gender values and attend religious services regularly with their husbands have high-quality marriages.”

Behind them are religious progressives, a term that may seem like an oxymoron to some, who at 60 percent (13 points less) report satisfaction in their marriage.

The report also notes that wives who reside in the middle ideologically or conservatives who do not have religious values are the least satisfied in their marriages.

“We suspect that part of their relative unhappiness, compared with religiously conservative women, is that they don’t enjoy the social, emotional and practical support for family life provided by a church, mosque or synagogue,” the researchers explained.

Mike Pence and His Wife

Remember it was godless liberals who highly criticized Vice President Mike Pence when he expressed a desire to keep any private interactions with women solely to his wife? Wonder if she’s happy with her marriage.

How enraged were liberals with Pence’s loyalty to his wife? They compared it with Sharia Law. No, we’re not kidding.

Conservative Sex Lives

According to a study in 2016 amongst five European countries, far-right leaning individuals are the most likely to be satisfied with their sex lives.

“In all five countries in the survey, it was the people with very right-wing politics who were most likely to be pleased with their sex life,” BuzzFeed reported.

Another survey conducted in the United States echoed those results, with Men’s Health reporting that 41 percent of Republicans were “happy with their sex lives,” compared to 38 percent of Democrats.

Religious conservatives, husbands and wives, have several reasons to be happy in their marriage. The sex is better according to these polls. When they have children, religious conservatives are more likely to view them as actual blessings, rather than a parasitic fetus designed to ruin their lives. And they tend to be okay with men and women actually acting like men and women within a relationship.

Maybe that’s why the happiest wives in America are religious conservatives.
