USPS Changes: Texas Voters, Mail Registrations Now
February 19, 2026·6 days ago·via The Fulcrum

New USPS rules mean Texas voters can't count on same-day postmarks anymore - mail gets stamped only at processing centers, which could take days after drop-off. With no online registration option, your application must be postmarked by February 2 to vote in the March 3 primaries, so get it in early to beat bureaucratic delays. Mail-in ballots need a postmark by 7 p.m. Election Day and arrive by 5 p.m. March 4; overseas and military get until March 9.
