US Secures Duty-Free Access for 7,132 Products in Bangladesh Deal

The US and Bangladesh ink a reciprocal trade agreement that opens Bangladesh's market wide to 7,132 American products with duty-free access, while limiting just 2,500 Bangladeshi items to enter the US tariff-free. Signed February 9, Bangladesh commits to massive purchases: 14 Boeing aircraft, $15 billion in US energy like LNG over 15 years, $3.5 billion in ag goods including wheat, soy, and cotton, plus US military gear.
