Tabor Crushes Zdan for Senate Endorsement in Atlantic
February 21, 2026·3 days ago·via New Jersey Globe

Richard Tabor, a no-nonsense New Jersey state trooper and U.S. Army combat veteran who served in Iraq, dominates the Atlantic County Republican convention, defeating rival Alex Zdan 644-208 for the U.S. Senate endorsement. This marks Tabor's third county nod, including Union and Hudson support, as GOP contenders gear up to challenge Democrat incumbent Cory Booker in 2026. Zdan, a former News 12 reporter with Passaic County backing, trails badly despite his recent entry into the race.
