Secretary of State Marco Rubio testifies today in the federal criminal trial of his former roommate and Florida Congressman David Rivera, accused of secretly lobbying for Venezuela's socialist dictator Nicolas Maduro during Trump's first term. Prosecutors charge Rivera and associate Esther Nuhfer took $50 million to push Maduro's agenda, including easing U.S. sanctions, by meeting Rubio and trying to sway Kellyanne Conway without registering as foreign agents.
