Poll: Most Say Trump Fails to Explain Iran Goals

A new CBS News poll reveals most Americans believe the Trump administration still hasn't clearly explained its goals on Iran, amid tense nuclear negotiations and threats of military action. Trump has pushed hard for a better deal than Obama's failed JCPOA, which he rightly scrapped in 2018, sending letters to Khamenei, imposing sanctions to crush Iran's oil exports, and demanding an end to uranium enrichment while offering limited sanctions relief.
