New FEC reports expose fundraising hauls for Kansas congressional candidates ahead of the 2026 midterms, with Republicans showing serious financial muscle. GOP contender Derek Schmidt dominates in one race, raising $822,787 while sitting pretty with $597,940 cash on hand after smart spending. Democrat Don Coover trails with $299,678 raised but has burned through much of it, leaving just $129,058.
