DOJ Pays Flynn $1.2M in Wrongful Prosecution Settlement
The DOJ agrees to pay General Michael Flynn roughly $1.2 million to settle his lawsuit claiming politically motivated prosecution during Trump's first term over the Russia probe. Flynn, Trump's former national security adviser, sued in 2023 for $50 million after pleading guilty to lying to FBI agents about Russian contacts, but a federal judge dismissed it in 2024 under Biden.
