DOJ Fires Judge-Picked US Attorney

The Justice Department just fired Donald Kinsella, the US Attorney for New York's Northern District whom federal judges appointed the same day to replace a Trump ally. This comes after courts ruled acting prosecutor John Sarcone's tenure unlawful, blocking his probe into Democrat AG Letitia James, Trump's top foe. Deputy AG Todd Blanche slammed it on X: "Judges don’t pick U.S. Attorneys, @POTUS does.
