DHS Faces Shutdown After Congress Leaves Town

With Congress bolting for recess without a funding deal, much of the Department of Homeland Security runs out of money after midnight, risking a shutdown that endangers our borders and safety. Senate Democrats blocked a key funding bill Thursday on a 52-47 vote, with only Sen. John Fetterman breaking ranks to support it, proving once again their willingness to play politics over protecting America.
