Dems Cry Theft Over Trump's Tariffs

Democrats are ramping up their attack on President Trump's tariffs, claiming they've "stolen" from Americans after the Supreme Court ruled the tariffs illegal in a 6-3 decision. Senate Dems like Ron Wyden, Ed Markey, and Jeanne Shaheen, backed by Chuck Schumer, introduced the Tariff Refund Act of 2026 to force $175 billion in refunds with interest to small businesses and consumers within 180 days. House Dems Steven Horsford and Janelle Bynum pushed a similar bill for independent businesses.
