Collins Launches Reelection Bid in Competitive Maine Senate Race

Sen. Susan Collins formally announced her reelection campaign Tuesday, seeking a sixth term in a race expected to be among the most expensive this year. As the only Republican senator running in a state won by Vice President Kamala Harris in 2024, Collins faces a competitive general election against either Gov. Janet Mills or political newcomer Graham Platner.
