Bucks County Teens Charged in ISIS-Inspired NYC Bomb Plot
Two Bucks County, Pennsylvania, teenagers, 18-year-old Emir Balat and 19-year-old Ibrahim Kayumi, face federal terrorism charges for attempting to detonate ISIS-inspired homemade bombs packed with bolts and nails during a counterprotest outside NYC Mayor Zohran Mamdani's residence at Gracie Mansion. The devices failed to explode, but prosecutors say the pair admitted acting on ISIS orders, with Balat confessing they aimed for an attack bigger than the Boston Marathon bombing.
