The attorney representing Stormy Daniels, the porn star suing President Donald Trump, is proving that the suits have the explicit goal of damaging Trump politically.
The attorney, Michael Avenatti, appeared on Don Lemon’s show on CNN Wednesday, in which he predicted that Trump will not finish out his first term as President, and will instead be forced to resign (something I’m fairly certain Trump’s ego would never allow).
Those comments came in response to a question from Lemon regarding recent comments from Trump’s new attorney, Rudy Giuliani, that Trump reimbursed $130,000 to Michael Cohen for his payment to Stormy. That’s contrary to Trump’s prior statements on the matter.
According to the Washington Free Beacon:
Lemon asked “What do you think this means legally, if anything, for the president?”
“Well, I think this shows that the president has significant potential criminal liability for felonies associated with campaign finance violations as well as potential money laundering violations as well as potential fraud violations relating to these law firm invoices that we’ve now heard about,” Avenattis said. “I mean, this opens the pandoras box if you will into serious, serious issues for Donald Trump.”
Avenatti added that he thinks Trump will not serve out his term as president and that he will be forced to resign. “I’m going to say it again, Mr. Trump will not serve out his term,” Avenatti said. “No way, no how. he will be forced to ultimately resign. This is a bombshell.”
Stormy first sued Trump, claiming the terms of a non-disclosure agreement were invalid in March and filed a second suit on Monday for defamation. That new lawsuit came after a tweet from Trump on April 18th where he scoffed at a police sketch artist drawing that Daniels recently had made of a man she said threatened her in 2011 over her alleged affair with Trump.
“A sketch years later about a nonexistent man. A total con job, playing the Fake News Media for Fools (but they know it)!”
That tweet sounds like a flimsy case for a defamation lawsuit, and it’s hard to imagine Avenatti will convince anyone that Trump committed money laundering either.
Interestingly enough, as Avenatti continues to come out swinging against President Trump, the “Stormy Daniels” story has boosted Trump’s approval among at least one demographic.

Support from women fell from 41 percent to 35 percent in the new Harvard CAPS/Harris Poll, even as Trump’s support among men rose 3 points to 53 percent.
Harvard CAPS/Harris Poll co-director Mark Penn said the growing gender gap in the poll is the result of the “Stormy Effect.”
“While President Trump’s overall ratings are stable, his support increased among men and dropped among women,” Penn said. “This poll was taken right after the Stormy Daniels interview and so I think this increased gender polarization is the ‘Stormy Effect’.”

This attorney is making his rounds on the liberal late night “comedy” shows enjoying the newfound limelight.It is hard to define the harm being done politically verses the desire by this attorney to get personal attention at this point.

Question? If the hooker was threatened years (in 2011) before the non-disclosure agreement in 2016 – who even knew or talked about it back then. They did not negotiate for 5 years! Totally part of the ongoing Democratic smear campaign.
