Rep. Cori Bush (D-MO), a member of the Democrat ‘Squad’, described America as “racist AF” – a vulgar acronym for the “f-word” – in response to Senator Tim Scott arguing that America is not inherently racist.
Bush made the comments late this past weekend, just days after Scott made his declaration.
“Our communities wouldn’t have needed to spark a national movement to save Black lives if America weren’t racist AF,” Bush tweeted.
‘AF’ is an acronym for “as f***.”
A member of the United States Congress, elected by her constituents, who happens to be black, just described the nation she lives in as “racist as f***.”
Just an absolute class act. Well done, voters in Missouri’s 1st congressional district.
Our communities wouldn’t have needed to spark a national movement to save Black lives if America weren’t racist AF.

Cori Bush Says America Is ‘Racist AF’
Essence Magazine notes that Cori Bush’s comments declaring America is ‘racist AF’ comes just “three days after Sen. Tim Scott and VP Kamala Harris both said that America is not a racist country.”
Scott (R-SC), in his rebuttal speech to President Joe Biden’s address to Congress last week, accused Democrats of pushing a racial divide by pretending America hasn’t made any progress since the days of slavery.
“Hear me clearly: America is not a racist country. It’s backward to fight discrimination with different types of discrimination,” Scott, who is also African-American, said.
He added, “And it’s wrong to try to use our painful past to dishonestly shut down debates in the present.”
Harris, meanwhile, agreed that America is not a “racist country” but suggested the nation must “speak the truth” about its history.

Defund The Police
Essence reports that Bush’s office has not specifically said if the “racist AF” comments were directed at Scott or Harris, adding that they also come “days after she praised a ‘historic’ vote to defund the St. Louis Metropolitan Police Department.”
The St. Louis Metropolitan Police Department will see a $4 million cut from their budget – moved to other programs – and 98 currently vacant police officer positions will be eliminated.
Mayor Tishaura Jones has been advocating to defund the police and jails while redirecting the funds to social workers, affordable housing, homeless aid, and civil rights litigators.
“Today’s decision to defund the St. Louis Metropolitan Police Department is historic. It marks a new future for our city,” Bush remarked last Friday.
Good luck, St. Louis. Better get out while you can.

St. Louis last year saw more than 260 killings, which had the homicide rate at its highest in 50 years.
Bush has shown a penchant for firing back at anybody who dares suggest defunding the police is a bad idea. Even Democrats.
She went after former President Barack Obama for belittling the Squad’s efforts to dismantle the police as just a “snappy” slogan.
“It’s not a slogan,” Bush fired back. “It’s a mandate for keeping our people alive. Defund the police.”
With all due respect, Mr. President—let’s talk about losing people. We lost Michael Brown Jr. We lost Breonna Taylor. We’re losing our loved ones to police violence.

Not only does Bush despise law enforcement, she’s not a fan of the military either, having not only called to ‘defund the police’ but to ‘defund the Pentagon.’
Scott, for his efforts in refusing to bow to the anti-American crowd, was the subject of a racial slur that trended on social media for hours and Democrat politicians who also used reprehensible slurs.
