Roseanne is about to go on the record and air a ton of dirty laundry.
At least that’s the speculation after it was confirmed that the controversial TV star would sit down for an interview with Sean Hannity of Fox News.
This will be the first on-air interview Roseanne will do since she was infamously fired from her eponymous sitcom by ABC after posting a racial slur on Twitter. It’s expected that Roseanne will address her firing, the recent spate of Hollywood firings over controversial comments, and, of course, President Trump. The interview will air this Thursday on Hannity’s television show:
Fox News’ top host Sean Hannity will interview beleaguered actor and comedian Roseanne Barr on Thursday.
Fox News made the announcement in a press release tonight, which will be Barr’s first broadcast appearance since ABC fired her, set to air this Thursday, July 26th.

Roseanne did recently address the comment that got her fired – the nasty tweet likening Valerie Jarrett, a former advisor to President Obama, to an ape. However, her comments weren’t exactly apologetic. (RELATED: Roseanne Takes Back Apology to Former Obama White House Insider Valerie Jarrett.)
The interview with Hannity should be interesting, because both he and Barr share something in common: a loathing of Hollywood’s double standard, specifically on comedy.
It’s perfectly OK for Kathy Griffin to depict Trump as decapitated or for Madonna to call for blowing up the Trump White House. (RELATED: Madonna Says She “Thought An Awful Lot” About Blowing Up The White House.) But making a racial joke about a former Obama lackey? That’s beyond the pale in an industry where racial slurs and crude jokes are common.
