Sean Hannity Believes Trump Will Fire Mueller After Hurricane Florence

If this is true, Hurricane Florence isn’t the biggest storm about to hit Washington. President Trump could unleash chaos on the nation’s capital following a deluge of rain.

As the East Coast prepares for Florence’s onslaught of water, President Trump is preparing for war. For months now, he’s been mulling over whether or not to terminate the Robert Mueller-led special counsel investigation into possible collusion between his presidential campaign and the Russian government. The investigation has discovered no evidence of collusion so far, but it has been a few Trump campaign associates behind bars, or in legal jeopardy. As the investigation has worn on, the President has gotten restless in waiting for a final conclusion. Some Republican senators feel the same way, and have asked for Mueller to show his hand for call it a day. (RELATED: Senator Cassidy: Shut It Down, Mueller.)

Now it looks like Trump’s patience is nearly gone. It’s being rumored that he may fire Mueller and end the investigation following Hurricane Florence. None other than Sean Hannity revealed as much. During his radio show, a caller asked Hannity when Trump would close down Mueller’s special counsel. The caller specifically asks, “And something else I thought about, if there — for the investigation, the special counsel, to begin with, there was supposed to be a crime designated. If there’s no crime designated, then can’t Trump put an end to it?”

Here’s how Hannity replied:

Listen, I think all of that’s gonna happen. I think it’s gonna happen sooner than later.

I don’t think it’s going to happen on a week where 9/11 happened, it’s — to me, there’s other things that we — are more important to talk about, and I don’t think with a big, massive hurricane about to hit the East coast of the United States, that looks like the real deal, that anybody’s going to be focused on that. We’ve got to worry about our neighbors right now. We got to roll up our sleeves and be prepared to help out the people of South Carolina, North Carolina and elsewhere. That’s where our focus is.

But afterwards, I would — I would expect that he will do that

Now this isn’t just crazy conjecture on Hannity’s part, or at least we don’t think it is. It’s well known that Hannity speaks regularly to President Trump. In fact, it’s been reported that they speak pretty much every night.

More than any other TV journalist, Hannity knows what Trump is thinking. I’m betting he wouldn’t have mentioned that Trump is really considering firing Mueller unless he knew it was true.

So watch out, Washington. After Hurricane Florence, you’re going to get another round of Hurricane Trump, this time with a vengeance.
