One of the most underrated facets of President Trump’s rise to the White House has been the hypocrisy factor of the Democrats.
Conservatives watched for years as liberal lions such as Bill Clinton or Ted Kennedy got away with their disdain for the value of a woman or her life. They watched for years as the media ignored, or even defended their transgressions and consistently held the GOP to a much higher standard.
When a woman like Sarah Sanders comes along and points out that hypocrisy, it must be thoroughly mind-bending to our friends in the media.
That’s exactly what the White House Press Secretary did when she turned complaints about Trump’s support for Supreme Court nominee Brett Kavanaugh around on two prominent Democrats who have gone unscathed, despite their own allegations.
“You know, it’s interesting that you say that,” Sanders said after “GMA” host George Stephanopoulos claimed the President tends to support men in these circumstances.
“It’s a lot of Democrats that like to ignore Keith Ellison and Cory Booker,” she shot back. “They love to fight and champion women until they disagree with them.”

Sanders was referring to Ellison being accused of physical and emotional abuse by a woman he had engaged in a long-term relationship with, as well as Booker, who, by his own admission, groped a friend in his teenage years even “after having my hand pushed away.”
Booker would later admit his teenage efforts to “score” showed “a gap between my beliefs and my actions.”
That’s not a gap in belief and action. That’s the hypocrisy we were talking about, a hallmark of the Democrat Party.
And yet, neither Ellison nor Booker has been accosted while trying to have dinner with their family as Ted Cruz was Monday night. Instead, they get to rail against Kavanaugh – Booker most famously with his ‘Spartacus moment.’
Sanders went on to explain that the media should start analyzing claims against Democrats just as thoroughly as those against Republicans or those associated with the Trump administration.
“A number of other Democrats should have the same type of scrutiny,” she said.
Why would they when the original #MeToo politician in Clinton was able to escape it for so many years?
