On Friday, former New York City Mayor Rudy Giuliani insisted that he “committed no crime” regarding a federal investigation into his dealings with Ukraine, and is “more than willing to go to jail” if he is convicted.
Giuliani made his comments in an interview with NBC News New York that focused on the upcoming 20th anniversary of the 9/11 terrorist attacks.
“When asked why he would be willing to go to jail if he is not guilty, Giuliani replied "Because they lie, they cheat."”
He knows he is going to jail 🤷🏻♀️

Giuliani: ‘I Am More Than Willing To Go To Jail If They Want To Put Me In Jail’
On April 28, several of Giuliani’s electronics, including phones, were seized by federal prosecutors in a raid on his home.
Giuliani has been accused of violating the Foreign Agents Registration Act, which requires a government agent who wants to engage in foreign political activities to file paperwork with the Justice Department.
“I committed no crime, and if you think I committed a crime, you’re probably really stupid, because you don’t know who I am,” Giuliani told NBC News New York.
The former NYC mayor said, “Is the guy who put the mafia in jail, terrorists in jail, Ed Koch’s commissioners in jail, and the worst people on Wall Street—I’m not going to file? I mean, that’s just crazy.”
“I am more than willing to go to jail if they want to put me in jail. And if they do, they’re going to suffer the consequences in heaven,” Giuliani added.
“I didn’t do anything wrong,” he insisted.
In his interview on Friday, Giuliani compared his investigation and how the federal government has chosen to handle New York Gov. Andrew Cuomo’s nursing home scandal, in which thousands of New York seniors died allegedly due to the governor’s policy of forcing COVID-19 positive patients back into the homes.
“When you see the differences between the way Cuomo was treated and the way I’m treated, and you don’t realize there’s a very, very terrible distortion of justice,” Giuliani said.

Giuliani Wonders Why Hunter Biden Isn’t Investigated
Giuliani told Fox News host Tucker Carlson on Fox News in April after his home was raided that it was curious that prosecutors chose not to seize Hunter Biden’s hard drives, like they did to him.
“Hunter Biden’s hard drives fall within the scope of subpoena,” Giuliani said. “The subpoena required them to take all of the electronics. But they decided to leave that out.”
“I can tell you, I never represented a foreign national,” Giuliani said. “In fact, I have in my contracts, a refusal to do it because from the time I got out of being mayor, I did not want to lobby.”
