Roger Stone sat down with The Political Insider’s James Miller for an exclusive interview where they discussed  “Spygate,” social media censorship, and the faux-narrative of Russian collusion with the Trump campaign.

At a later point in the interview, the hacking of the DNC back in 2016 came up. The DNC claimed yesterday that their supposed “hack” was actually a false alarm the entire time, not a calculated attack by the Russians.

An analysis by the firm Crowdstrike (many executives of which had connections to the Obama administration) concluded that the DNC was hacked by the Russians (and personally ordered by Vladimir Putin) – but now we’re to believe it never happened at all? What exactly did Crowdstrike analyze then? Most suspicious of all is that while the DNC authorized Crowdstrike to look at their servers to investigate, they refused to allow the FBI to do the same.

What explains this? Either there was no hack, and the DNC just hired Crowdstrike to say whatever they wanted them to so they could blame the Russians. Another option is that there wasn’t a hack of the DNC, but instead a leak (or an “inside job” as one might say), which the DNC wanted to cover up (and Russia was the excuse for that).

Roger Stone believes the latter theory and explained that because he’s being sued by the DNC, he sees an opportunity to prove that they were never hacked once and for all. Stone pointed to the forensic evidence as outlined in The Nation, a left-wing magazine that was skeptical of the DNC’s hacking claims. Stone hinted that he believes Seth Rich was the leakier, a common point of speculation denied by Rich’s parents.

Stone has been forced to establish a legal defense fund in order to adequately fend off the vicious attacks from the left.

The article from The Nation Stone mentioned was summarizing a report by Veteran Intelligence Professionals for Sanity (VIPS), which argued from their own investigation that the theft of the DNC e-mails was a leak that didn’t involve Russia. VIPS was founded by former members of the CIA, the FBI, and NSA.

Their report found, among other things, that “there was no hack of the Democratic National Committee’s system on July 5 last year—not by the Russians, not by anyone else. Hard science now demonstrates it was a leak—a download executed locally with a memory key or a similarly portable data-storage device. In short, it was an inside job by someone with access to the DNC’s system.”

And who was that person? Whoever they were, the DNC is so desperate we never find out that they’re seriously pretending they were never hacked in the first place.
