Rep. Ilhan Omar, according to reports, is currently being investigated by multiple federal agencies for alleged crimes surrounding in part her controversial and sordid marriage history.
Reporter David Steinberg at The Blaze wrote in October that the Department of Justice had assigned an FBI Special Agent in Charge (SAC) to review complaints regarding what he defined as Omar’s “apparent, astonishing spree of felonies from 2009 to 2017.”
Steinberg states that the FBI has taken additional steps since then.
His report indicated that the “FBI SAC stated that the wide range of criminal activity suggested by the evidence against Rep. Omar may lead the FBI to expand the review to other federal departments.”
The FBI has now provided information to the Department of Education Inspector General and Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE).

Tax Fraud, Immigration Fraud, Marriage Fraud
The list of allegations of criminal activity by Omar over the years reads like a Bubba Gump menu of assorted frauds – tax fraud, marriage fraud, immigration fraud, student loan fraud, etc.
A majority of these alleged violations stem from Omar’s possible marriage to her brother, a seeming attempt to violate immigration rules.
Even the left-leaning Minneapolis Star-Tribune reported on documents raising questions as to whether Omar previously married her own brother as a means to “skirt immigration laws.”
Judicial Watch filed a congressional ethics complaint against Omar in July, saying she must be investigated for “perjury, immigration fraud, marriage fraud, state and federal tax fraud, and federal student loan fraud.”
It would appear the lies might now be catching up to her.

‘She Needs to Be Stopped’
Fox News personality Tucker Carlson ran a story on the allegations against Omar Thursday night.
“Tales have swirled around Congresswoman Ilhan Omar’s personal life – the press has essentially ignored the story – but now the FBI reportedly is investigating what journalists will not,” he commented.
Fox News correspondent Trace Gallagher added that the allegations involving Omar include “perjury, immigration fraud, tax fraud, student loan fraud, and possibly bigamy.”
The Blaze ran a Facebook post that said: “Uh oh. Maybe this is why she wants to abolish ICE?”
Omar has been a perpetual bastion of controversy since entering Congress. Most recently, she embarrassed herself and her colleagues while laughing uncontrollably as a fellow Democrat was somberly discussing American lives lost in the Middle East.

Dalia al-Aqidi, a Republican Muslim Iraqi refugee, has announced a campaign to unseat Omar in November.
“She needs to be stopped,” al-Aqidi told Fox News in a phone interview. “I truly believe that I’m strong enough to beat her at her own game.”
The question now appears to be will she be stopped by her opponents or stopped by her own undoing?
