Rep. Ilhan Omar Tells Muslims to ‘Raise Hell, Make People Uncomfortable’

Describing Muslims as being treated like ‘second class citizens’ in America, Rep. Ilhan Omar encouraged them to stand up, “raise hell,” and “make people uncomfortable.”

Omar’s rich history of being an anti-Semite could certainly qualify as making people ‘uncomfortable.’

The Minnesota Democrat was speaking at a fund-raising event hosted by the Los Angeles chapter of the Council on American-Islamic Relations (CAIR).

She offered those in attendance advice on tackling perceived discrimination against the Muslim community.

“I say raise hell, make people uncomfortable,” Omar said.

“Because here’s the truth,” she continued. “For far too long, we have lived with the discomfort of living as second class citizens, and frankly I’m tired of it and every single Muslim in this country should be tired of it.”

Attacks Trump

Omar then made wild claims against the President of the United States, alleging that he fuels hatred against Muslims with his ill-chosen words.

“We finally have a leader, a world leader, in the White House who publicly says ‘Islam hates us,’ who fuels hate against Muslims, who think it is OK to speak about a faith and a whole community in a way that is dehumanizing, vilifying, and doesn’t understand — or at least makes us think he doesn’t understand — the consequences his words might have,” she said.

Omar then claimed Trump does indeed understand what he is saying and that he intentionally tries to stoke the flames of religious tension.

Omar Doesn’t Understand the Consequences of Her Words or Actions

Her allegations against the President are quite rich, especially since Omar had to recently be defended by Democrats for her own bigoted comments because she supposedly didn’t “understand” the meaning of her words.

Omar has done nothing but dabble in anti-Semitic tropes since she took office, only to have to apologize for them later. Her career includes references to Israel as “evil,” comparisons of Israel to Iran, repeated anti-Semitic tropes, and support of the anti-Semitic BDS movement. She has badgered a Jewish diplomat and traveled with “a radical anti-American and anti-Israel organization” that sides with countries who are political foes to the United States.

Still, House Speaker Nancy Pelosi defended her as ignorant, stating “she has a different experience in the use of words” and “doesn’t understand that some of them are fraught with meaning that she didn’t realize.”

She apparently doesn’t understand the meaning of her actions either, speaking in front of a CAIR group that is one of three prominent Islamic organizations that were named as an ‘unindicted co-conspirator’ in a case alleging a criminal conspiracy to support the Palestinian Arab terrorist group, Hamas.

And she’s advising them to ‘raise hell.’
