In a now-deleted tweet, a Planned Parenthood branch in Pennsylvania proclaimed, “We need a disney [sic] princess who’s had an abortion.”
You cannot make up how vile and uncaring for human life these people are.
Planned Parenthood Keystone, which is based in Trexlertown, tweeted the scummy statement in response to a Twitter meme that imagines the traits of new Disney princesses, both serious and not. In addition to stating that we “need” a princess who’s suffered an abortion, the account also said, “We need a disney princess who’s pro-choice/We need a disney princess who’s an undocumented immigrant/We need a disney princess who’s actually a union worker/we need a disney princess who’s trans.”
Unsurprisingly, the backlash against the tweet was swift, and it was soon deleted. But not before dozens of people could take screenshots.

Melissa Reed, Planned Parenthood’s president, and CEO, also offered a non-apology about their decision to remove the tweet. “Today, we joined an ongoing Twitter conversation about the kinds of princesses people want to see in an attempt to make a point about the importance of telling stories that challenge stigma and championing stories that too often don’t get told,” she said in a statement. “Upon reflection, we decided that the seriousness of the point we were trying to make was not appropriate for the subject matter or context, and we removed the tweet.”
As you can see, Reed didn’t at all condemn the tweet itself, which just goes to show that Planned Parenthood as an organization is completely amoral from top to bottom.
But if they want to keep instilling aspirations of murder in little girls, they can go right ahead. They’ll learn soon enough that they have less support than they think.
So today on Twitter – a Planned Parenthood branch tweeted that we need “a Disney princess who’s had an abortion” and a Supreme Court justice is calling for a repeal of the 2nd Amendment.
