Keith Kellogg, the former national security adviser to Vice President Mike Pence, declared his old boss to be “unworthy of the presidency” and heartily endorsed Donald Trump in 2024.

Trump’s campaign happily shared a post by Kellogg on Truth Social.

In his statement, the retired Army lieutenant general portrays Pence as passive and unwilling to challenge the status quo. Trump, by contrast, is a leader who makes bold and decisive moves.

“I’ve worked alongside many leaders in my years of service to this Nation,” Kellogg said. “Among them, President Donald J. Trump stands apart as a figure of unwavering determination, a deep vision for America, and the courage to take a stand where others wilt.”

“His bold and dramatic leadership style during his Presidency resulted in significant achievements for our country,” he continued.

Pence, on the other hand, is described by Kellogg as often choosing “the passive route, avoiding confrontation,” and his “lack of assertiveness” makes him “unworthy of the Presidency.”

Kellogg Endorses Trump – Rips Pence

General Kellogg also expressed his disappointment over Pence’s recent actions in regard to the former President.

“For a period of time in the White House, I served as the National Security Advisor to Vice President Pence,” wrote Kellpgg. “While I respect his service to our Nation, I must express my disappointment in his recent actions regarding President Trump.”

“It is not the decisive leadership that we have seen from President Trump,” he added.

Pence has been consistently ridiculed by conservatives for his full-throated support of the latest indictment of Trump regarding the January 6th riot at the Capitol.

“Anyone who puts himself over the Constitution should never be President of the United States,” Pence said of the charges, failing to point out the obvious political and electoral motivations behind the Biden administration’s DOJ’s continued pursuit of his main political opponent.

Pence Hints He Would Testify Against Trump

Pence recently indicated that he has no designs on testifying against the former President in his January 6th trial, but would “comply with the law” if called upon to do so.

“I have no plans to testify. But, look, we’ll always comply with the law,” Pence said on CNN’s “State of the Union.”

“That is not what Republican voters want,” Kellogg’s statement continued. “President Trump’s dedication to the prosperity and security of the United States is unwavering, as is his vision for the future.”

“I believe in the future President Trump envisions. A future that demands bold and decisive leadership, something we have seen in President Trump but not from the former Vice President,” he concluded.

Kellogg was subpoenaed by the January 6th committee, as it was alleged he was with Trump while the Capitol riot unfolded.

He also poured cold water over a hit piece published by the Atlantic in 2020 that contended Trump referred to America’s fallen soldier heroes as “suckers” and “losers.”

“The Atlantic story is completely false. Absolutely lacks merit,” Kellogg said at the time adding that Trump “has always shown the highest respect to our active duty troops and veterans with utmost respect paid to those who have given the ultimate sacrifice and those wounded in battle.”

After Kellogg’s statement, perhaps Pence will finally realize that he made a huge mistake in turning on Trump.
