House Speaker Nancy Pelosi’s daughter warned that the sex-trafficking case against politically connected financier Jeffrey Epstein could implicate “some of our faves.”

Christine Pelosi, a DNC official, was referencing this weekend’s bombshell report that Epstein had been arrested in New York on new sex-trafficking charges involving allegations as far back as the early 2000s.

Pelosi notes that lawmakers on either side of the aisle could get swept up in the “horrific” case.

“This Epstein case is horrific and the young women deserve justice,” Pelosi tweeted. “It is quite likely that some of our faves are implicated but we must follow the facts and let the chips fall where they may – whether on Republicans or Democrats.”

Epstein received an incredibly lenient plea deal over a decade ago after being accused of paying girls for sexual massages in Florida.

According to Fox News, Epstein was sentenced at the time to “13 months in prison, required to settle with his then-teenage victims and register as a sex offender” even though he “faced life in prison.”

He is expected to plead not guilty to the new charges.

Who Is She Referring To?

Pelosi’s comments are eyebrow-raising as, had Epstein’s connections been limited to the other side of the political aisle, she no doubt would have pounced.

Rather than pounce, she couched her comments, bracing her fellow Democrats for what may be coming.

An analysis by Fox News in 2016 showed former President Bill Clinton traveled on Epstein’s jet, known as the “Lolita Express”, 26 separate times, and that several of them involved Clinton ditching his Secret Service detail.

Gary Byrne, a former agent in the 1990s, noted that Clinton would often ask Secret Service to allow him to sneak out of the White House and meet up with women outside his marriage.

“Bill Clinton … associated with a man like Jeffrey Epstein, who everyone in New York, certainly within his inner circles, knew was a pedophile,” Conchita Sarnoff, author of a book on the Epstein case called TrafficKing, said. “Why would a former president associate with a man like that?”

According to a Washington Post report in 2018, court documents showed President Trump had barred Epstein from Mar-a-Lago “because Epstein sexually assaulted an underage girl at the club.”
