Pelosi Heckled After Bashing Tax Cuts – ‘How Much Are YOU Worth?’

A woman attending a town hall meeting with Nancy Pelosi discussing tax cuts couldn’t take it anymore.

The House Minority Leader was railing against the very popular cuts as everything evil under the sun – unpatriotic, un-American, anti-children, and anti-God.

But it was her quoting Martin Luther King Jr. regarding “abject deadening poverty” that set the woman off.

“God never intended one group of people to live in superfluous inordinate wealth while others live in abject deadening poverty,” Pelosi reflected.

“So these are kitchen table issues for America’s families, because … most people are not in deadening poverty but some are,” she continued. “But most people have to struggle …”

That was about all the woman could stand.

“How much are you worth, Nancy?” the woman shouted. “Are you in abject poverty?”

The answer to that, of course, is no. In 2014, the nonpartisan Center for Responsive Politics estimated her net worth to be a shade over $100 million.

Perhaps that’s why her comments that God would not want these tax cuts and that bonuses for employees ranging in the thousands of dollars are mere “crumbs” ring hollow to the average person.

Speaking in West Virginia a few weeks ago, President Trump took a shot at Pelosi’s crumb comments.

“People are getting 1,000, 2,000, 3,000 dollars,” he said. “That’s not crumbs. That’s a lot of money.”

Despite the reasonable question posed by the woman, Pelosi refused to answer, only saying that “We’re not talking about that.”

She dismissed the question adding, “You know, I’m a mother of five I can now speak louder than anybody” over the heckler.

A new poll indicates that a majority of Americans support the tax cut legislation, especially as more and more of them are seeing the benefits in their paychecks.

Is Nancy Pelosi a hypocrite for railing against tax cuts for Americans while basking in the glow of millions of dollars in wealth? Share your thoughts below!
