Rep. Nancy Pelosi took to the House floor on Tuesday to condemn President Trump’s tweets against the #RadicalFour as racist. Even though Pelosi was banned from the floor for her speech, what she said before the removal is cringeworthy.
What’s really ironic is Pelosi could not condemn anti-Semitism, or anti-American comments, by those in her own party – but she’s blasting Trump. No surprise there.
Pelosi said a lot of things that she doesn’t even believe in, such as unity and working together. Those words are not even in the vocabulary of Democrats and socialists in the House. It always puzzles me when Democrats use history to make their point or to indoctrinate.
Democrats in Congress took an oath to support and defend the Constitution of the United States of America! They have failed! Since taking office, the only care about gaining more wealth, gaining more power over us and impeaching our duly elected President! We need term limits!
I went to Spanish mass this weekend and saw the dignity of those families, the beauty of the children, and the fear that the president had struck in their hearts as we were listening to the gospel of the Good Samaritan to show mercy and love thy neighbor as thyself. That very same day, unfortunately, those who were not informed by that gospel. And so here we are later in that day, was stunning to hear the words that were used, go home, to some of our colleagues.
The same words that were used to so many people in our country, whether because they weren’t born here or because they didn’t look like some others here. Go home. As annoyed and insulted as we all should be about the president saying this about our colleagues, it’s also not showing mercy for him to say that about so many people in our country as he wants to split up families…
The House, hopefully, has come together, standing as one to denounce the White House’s xenophobic attack on our members, on our people, and to defend the values of America. And what is America? America is many things. A land of a great constitution, which is under threat. A beautiful land that God has given us, which is being degraded. Values that we share that are being undermined. But America is also a nation largely but not totally, largely of immigrants.
As this resolution so beautifully states, the founders conceived as a haven for refuge, for people fleeing from religious and political persecution. Thomas Jefferson, Alexander Hamilton, James Madison having opposite views on other subjects all emphasized that the nation gained as it attracted new people in search of freedom and livelihood for their families. the resolution quotes our most iconic presidents who all recognize that immigrants are the constant reinvigoration of America, of hope, determination, optimism, and courage to make the future better…
Our caucus will continue to forcibly respond to those attacks on our members which reflect a fundamental disrespect for the beautiful diversity of America.

Democrats are apparently not planning to get anything useful done in this entire two-year congressional term. It’s just a non-stop parade of identity politics nonsense and Trump Derangement Syndrome.
There is no place anywhere for the president’s words, which are not only divisive but dangerous, and have legitimized and increased fear and hatred of new Americans and people of color.
It’s so sad because you would think that there would be a given that we would universally in this body just say, of course, of course, but there is no excuse for any response to those words but a swift and strong unified condemnation. Every single member of this institution, Democratic and Republican, should join us in condemning the president’s racist tweets. To do anything less would be a shocking rejection of our values and a shameful abdication of our oath of office to protect the American people.
President Trump is playing the entire Democrat leadership – both elected and self-appointed – like a Hohner Blues Harp harmonica. What I’ve been saying for years about the Democratic party is about to come to fruition. It’s not a unified political party with shared goals and ambitions, but rather a disjointed amalgamation of competing for special interests, each with their own selfish appetites and aspirations, and each with an avowed hatred of the others that simmers just below the surface.
But I do need to say one thing, if we don’t start electing Americans that see the US Constitution as a road map instead of an obstacle, we will find ourselves right back where we started 243 years ago.

• Rep. Upton (MI)

The bottom line here is that Democrats once again took Trump’s bait. The Radical Four continue to talk their heads off and it’s not going over well to the public. They played the victims one day and now they’re bashing Trump on interviews today. Pelosi doesn’t have control of her House anymore, the Squad has taken over — Pelosi has failed.
