Following backlash for being caught flouting COVID restrictions by visiting a San Francisco hair salon, House Speaker Nancy Pelosi is arguing the hairdresser set her up.
She even demanded an apology.
“House Speaker Nancy Pelosi visited a San Francisco hair salon on Monday afternoon for a wash and blow-out, despite local ordinances keeping salons closed amid the coronavirus pandemic,” Fox News reported earlier this week.
The video went viral.
Erica Kious, owner of the salon Nancy Pelosi claims set her up, rips into @SpeakerPelosi on Tucker:

Instead of admitting taking liberties that the average citizen wouldn’t have, a hysterical Pelosi lashed out at the salon and the hairdresser, demanding an apology.
“I take responsibility for trusting the word of the neighborhood salon that I have been to many times,” she told reporters, clearly throwing the business under the bus.
“When they said they could accommodate people one at a time, and we can set up that time, I trusted that,” she said. “As it turns out, it was a setup. So I take responsibility for falling for a setup.”
Imagine that – a lawmaker unclear on what the laws are in her own district.
Q: “I just spoke to a San Francisco barber who’s a fan of yours, he supports you. But he thinks you owe the service industry an apology.”

Demands an Apology
One reporter told Marie Antoinette Pelosi that he knew somebody in the industry who feels Madame Speaker owes salons and hairdressers an apology.
“Well, I don’t,” she replied. “I think that this salon owes me an apology for setting up.”
It takes a weapons-grade level of audacity and a complete disconnect with the working people to make such a ridiculous demand. But that’s Pelosi.
The salon owner, meanwhile, said any implication that this was a set up is “absolutely false,” noting security cameras were installed in the establishment five years ago.
President Trump lambasted Pelosi for the incident.
“Crazy Nancy Pelosi is being decimated for having a beauty parlor opened, when all others are closed, and for not wearing a Mask – despite constantly lecturing everyone else,” he tweeted.
Trump added, “We will almost certainly take back the House, and send Nancy packing!”
The Beauty Parlor owner must really dislike Crazy Nancy Pelosi. Turning her in, on tape, is a really big deal. She probably treats him like she treats everyone else…And she strongly supported a Kennedy who just lost in, of all places, Massachusetts!

Out of Touch
This isn’t the first time Pelosi has been clearly out of touch with the average American struggling to work or find work during the pandemic.
While millions of Americans were losing their jobs this past April due to largely Democrat-fueled shutdowns of the economy, the House Speaker was showing off the very expensive gourmet ice cream she keeps stocked up in her luxury sub-zero refrigerators.
This is the same woman who wants you to follow the science but doesn’t do so herself.
Remember when Pelosi deleted a damning video of her visiting Chinatown in April, telling people that fears of the coronavirus were unwarranted?
Crazy Nancy Pelosi deleted this from her Twitter account. She wanted everyone to pack into Chinatown long after I closed the BORDER TO CHINA. Based on her statement, she is responsible for many deaths. She’s an incompetent, third-rate politician! pic.twitter.com/uWNI7DCG3o

She lectures you but takes jaunts to China Town and the local salon.
It’s pretty clear Pelosi was never all that concerned about the virus or masks, but wanted to make sure you, the American people, had to shut down your lives because of it.
