Pelosi Called Out Over Impeachment: ‘Must Suck to Be That Dumb’

House Speaker Nancy Pelosi was called out by Senator John Kennedy over the Democrat party’s impeachment inquiry, alleging that it must be difficult to be “that dumb.”

Kennedy made the colorful comments at a rally for President Trump in Louisiana where he serves as a Republican senator.

He took her to task for trying to stall the President’s economic success by pursuing frivolous hoaxes involving impeachment at nearly every turn.

“In three short years, President Trump has doubled the growth in the greatest economy in all of human history. And do you know what our Democratic friends have done for him?” Kennedy asked the crowd. “Speaker Nancy Pelosi is trying to impeach him.”

He continued, “I don’t mean any disrespect, but it must suck to be that dumb.”

One can only imagine.

Scarborough Beside Himself

Kennedy’s comments sent MSNBC host Joe Scarborough into an apoplectic fit, despite the relative accuracy in his words.

“I just wonder how low these people are going to go,” Scarborough asked of Kennedy. “How much they’re going to degrade themselves?”

The MSNBC crank then claimed Kennedy’s comments would taint his entire legacy, all in the name of defending President Trump.

“By the way, senator, guess what? No matter what you do for the rest of your life, that’s your moment when you die. Your bio 30, 40 years from now, whenever it has that’s your moment,” he asserted. “Congratulations, you did it for a man who committed crimes.”

To be fair, defense of Donald Trump can be completely separate from the fact that Pelosi is dumber than a brick. How else to describe someone who has been turned into a circus performer at the hands of Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez and the Squad?

Scarborough can spare us the lecture in civility regardless, since, on multiple occasions, he has referred to people who support the President as ‘dumb.’

“Well, I’ll tell you what, it’s actually the responsibility of people that show up at those rallies to not be stupid,” Scarborough said of Trump supporters at an event last month, “to not be so stupid that they should be kept away from blenders.”

Is Kennedy Right?

Kennedy later clarified the reasoning behind his comments, calling Pelosi the “prime principle behind this impeachment,” and suggesting she’s paving the way for Republicans to treat a Democratic president in the same disrespectful manner.

“She is going to elevate partisan impeachment to the new normal so that when we have a new president – and we will have a Democratic president someday – many Republicans are going to feel obligated to impeach the Democratic president,” he explained.

Last month, another Louisiana Republican submitted a resolution to remove Speaker Nancy Pelosi from the House of Representatives.

“She has disgraced the people’s House and weaponized the Speaker’s gavel for her party’s political gain,” Rep. Ralph Abraham.
