Omarosa Could be in Legal Trouble Over Secret White House Recordings

Omarosa is out with a new book – and it’s full of damning allegations that even some liberals are wise enough to take with a grain of salt. Omarosa secretly recorded members of the Trump administration while serving as

She used those tapes to shop the book among publishers, though their contents aren’t public, so we don’t know the actual contents. The book, called “Unhinged,” drives a knife into Trump’s back, arguing among other things that the President is a racist who would use the “n-word” regularly, both when she knew him from “The Apprentice”, and in the White House. Even Toure, one of MSNBC’s chief race baiters, had to call into question the believably of a such a claim.

As it turns out, that “n-word” claim (in the context of Trump’s alleged usage in the White House) was a second-hand account, which Omarosa attributed to Frank Luntz. But according to Luntz, not only had he never heard Trump utter that word, Omarosa didn’t even bother to call him to verify the claim.

The book also claims that Trump called Kellyanne Conway’s half-Filipino husband a “f***ing goo-goo.” That’s bogus….. according to Kellyanne Conway’s husband:

In a move that’s probably to hedge her own lies, Omarosa says she doesn’t have possession of the audio proving her damning allegations, but that the people who have the tapes will release them. Are we to believe that Omarosa gave over her only copies of these “damning” conversations she recorded to someone else, and didn’t even bother to make copies?

What Omarosa is doing is probably creating an excuse for when these tapes are not released, she can just blame that on the tapes alleged handlers for “losing” them.

Even weirder, she did seem to keep at least one recording. In one 20-second recording, she played on NBC’s “Meet the Press,” John Kelly can be heard firing Omarosa, telling her that she can “go on without any type of difficulty” to her reputation “if we make this a friendly departure.” Omarosa says that Kelly’s words were “very obviously a threat.”

Or perhaps keeping those tapes out of her possession is to prevent federal investigators from potentially confiscating them – because there’s a high likelihood that Omarosa broke the law in recording members of the Trump team. As The Hill reported, “RNC Chairwoman Ronna McDaniel on Sunday suggested former White House aide Omarosa may face criminal charges for recording Chief of Staff John Kelly in the situation room.”

Sarah Huckabee Sanders weighed in too, stating that “The very idea a staff member would sneak a recording device into the White House Situation Room shows a blatant disregard for our national security — and then to brag about it on national television further proves the lack of character and integrity of this disgruntled former White House employee.”

The new attention on Omarosa isn’t going to be good for her. She could find herself in legal trouble- and her true colors are showing.

While her book tries to portray President Donald Trump as a racist, Michael Steele revealed on MSNBC last night that after Trump’s victory, he put together a lengthy list of black Republicans that would be willing to work in the White House. It was Omarosa who deliberately blocked the hiring of each and every single one of them.

If only she was fired sooner.
