New York Democrat Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez suggests that it’s wrong for people to bring children into the world in the era of climate change.
In a bizarre Instagram live video, the socialist darling of the left questioned the morality behind having children when “scientific consensus” suggests their lives will be difficult due to the threat of global warming.
“Our planet is going to hit disaster if we don’t turn this ship around and so it’s basically like, there’s a scientific consensus that the lives of children are going to be very difficult,” Ocasio-Cortez said as she prepared food for her 2.5 million followers.
“And it does lead, I think, young people to have a legitimate question, you know, ‘Is it okay to still have children?'”

A wild statement such as this seems even more absurd when you consider climate change has been a phenomenon around since the earth was formed.
Here’s an image of a placard at the New York State Museum in Albany which describes ‘climatic change’ and ‘global warming’ as being a contributing factor to the extinction of mastodonts.
Not too many industries, SUVs, or air conditioners polluting the air back then, we suspect.
But hey, this is the same woman who claimed facts don’t matter as long as your arguments are “morally right.”
Frets Lawmakers Are Going to ‘Kill Us’
Ocasio-Cortez moved on to slamming Senator Dianne Feinstein for setting a bunch of indoctrinated kids straight in a viral video in which they tried to corner her over her Green New Deal.
The freshman congresswoman peppered the criticism with her trademark use of the word ‘like.’
“This idea that ‘I’ve been working on this for x-amount of years,’ um, it’s like not good enough,” Ocasio-Cortez said.
“Like, we need a universal sense of urgency, and people are like trying to introduce watered-down proposals that are frankly going to kill us. A lack of urgency is going to kill us.”
The Alarmism is Off the Charts
Making statements such as ‘lawmakers are going to kill us’ and ‘people who have kids while climate change is happening are making them suffer’ might seem off one’s rocker to most of us, but it’s pretty much par for the course for Ocasio-Cortez.
It was just last month she compared global warming to World War II, suggesting the world will end if it’s not addressed in the next 12 years.

In October of this past year, she compared climate change to Nazi Germany in a call for more radical environmental efforts in the United States.
“So we talk about existential threats, the last time we had a really major existential threat to this country was around World War II,” Ocasio-Cortez told a crowd of supporters. “And so we’ve been here before and we have a blueprint of doing this before.”
It’s borderline insanity. Now, she wants you to limit the number of children you have because of her morals.
