NY Dem Forcibly Removed From Event Featuring Rashida Tlaib After He Asks About Her Anti-Semitism

A former New York Democrat lawmaker was forcibly ejected from an event featuring Rep. Rashida Tlaib when he asked her about past anti-Semitic statements.

Dov Hikind was in the audience at an event titled, ‘A Global Crisis: Refugees, Migrants, and Asylum Seekers – Lessons from the Prophet Muhammad,’ held at Rutgers University and hosted by the group ‘Muslims For Peace,’ when the clash took place.

Tlaib “came on at the end as the main speaker,” Hikind told Fox News when he posed a question regarding “her anti-Semitism and spreading a blood libel.”

He was referencing Tlaib’s spreading of fake news on social media last month, in which she retweeted a message suggesting the death of a young Palestinian boy was at the hands of the Jewish state. It later turned out his death was ruled an accidental drowning. Hence, the ‘blood libel.’

Hikind asked her about it and was immediately swarmed by security and escorted out of the room.

Pounced on Him

Hikind described the scene above to Fox News.

He said that as he was asking his question, “one man pounced on me and I told him to immediately get his hands off and he did. The cops were not far behind and removed me before I could get any response from Tlaib.”

Hikind claims that even after he was removed, Tlaib offered no apology for spreading anti-Semitic lies.

“She didn’t offer any justification or apology for perpetuating a dangerous anti-Jewish blood libel even after I had been ejected, instead she played the victim as she does so expertly,” he explained.

Hikind is correct. Despite the initial person sharing the story having apologized when it was later proven false, Tlaib refused to do the same and only suggested days later that she needed to “hold myself to the highest standards for what I share.”

Tlaib a Rabid Anti-Semite

Hikind asked about the most recent incident which shows Tlaib’s penchant for blaming Jews for things that are untrue. But she has a rich history of anti-Semitism from which the Democrat could have chosen from in questioning her.

  • Tlaib said thinking of the Holocaust provides her a “calming feeling.”
  • She called critics of her Holocaust distortion “racist idiots.”
  • Accused pro-Israel advocates of having dual loyalty.
  • Has a long history of associating with terrorists.
  • Supports the BDS movement and posed for photos with a campaign fundraiser who promoted anti-Semitic conspiracy theories.

Will He Sue?

Hikind has been a consistent and significant thorn in the side of Tlaib and her fellow anti-Semitic ‘Squad’ member, calling out their bigotry at every turn.

In November, he forced Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez to settle a lawsuit and apologize in order to avoid testifying in a case stemming from her blocking Hikind on Twitter.

“Mr. Hikind has a First Amendment right to express his views and should not be blocked for them,” AOC sheepishly stated. “In retrospect, it was wrong and improper and does not reflect the values I cherish. I sincerely apologize for blocking Mr. Hikind.”

Either Rutgers University or Tlaib’s people trampled his First Amendment rights once again at this ‘Muslims for Peace’ event. Rutgers immediately claimed they had nothing to do with what happened to Hikind, issuing a statement saying the event “was not sponsored or endorsed by Rutgers,” and they were simply the venue.

“Rutgers is committed to diversity, inclusion and fostering a campus community in which people of all backgrounds are treated with respect,” a spokesperson for the university said.

But somebody paid for the security personnel that dragged Hikind out. And somebody instructed them to do so.

Hikind has raised the ire of liberals in the past by insisting that the rise in hate crimes and anti-Semitism are the result of leftist rhetoric, not due to President Trump.

“Isn’t it fascinating that all of these communities that have been victimized by anti-Semitism, unprecedented anti-Semitism, in New York, in neighboring New Jersey now, in Monsey, all of these communities,” Hikind told Fox News. “They love the president. They are his greatest supporters.”

Tlaib’s office has yet to comment on the incident at Rutgers.
