Yahoo Reporter Michael Isikoff Outed as DNC Mole in Emails

Last Friday’s drop of the controversial FISA memo drafted by the staff of Rep. Devin Nunes was a damning indictment of the FBI’s credibility and impartiality. We learned that the FBI and the Justice Department used questionable intelligence – in the form of the so-called Trump dossier – to gain a warrant from the FISA court in order to spy on Carter Page, a former Trump campaign staffer.

Worse, we learned that Christopher Steele, the compiler of the dossier, actually planted a fake news story published by Yahoo news reporter Michael Isikoff in order to corroborate his own claims before the FISA court. That was bad, and not just for Isikoff’s own professional credibility.

Now we’re learning more about Isikoff, whose professionalism has fallen into question. Julian Assange of Wikileaks just broke a major scoop on Twitter, revealing just the kind of person Isikoff is. It turns out, he’s been a stooge of the DNC for some time. Check this out:

The message comes from Alexandra Chalupa, a woman CNN described as “a Ukrainian-American activist and Democratic consultant for over a decade.” She admitted to working with Isikoff for some time.

Why would an ostensibly independent journalist be working with a DNC contractor? And why did he pop back up for being a puppet for Christopher Steele, who was trying to use his byline to plant a story to gain surveillance on Donald Trump?

This thing stinks. Chalupa is alleged to have worked with Ukrainian officials to gather dirt on President Trump. It’s clear that Isikoff was also being used as someone who could either find compromising information about Trump, or use his position to advance a narrative about Russian collusion.
