Startling news this afternoon because we’re learning that President Trump’s personal lawyer has actually been representing none other than Sean Hannity!
First, some background: Michael Cohen has been Trump’s lawyer for years, and was recently involved in a legal imbroglio involving the President’s alleged affair with model Stormy Daniels. Cohen’s offices were raided by the FBI last week, which was ostensibly linked to Cohen’s role in covering up the Daniels affair.
Now, a judge had ordered Cohen to release the names of his clients.
Here’s more from Think Progress:
On Friday, a federal judge ordered Michael Cohen to turn over a list of his clients to the court by 10 a.m Monday morning. U.S. District Judge Kimba Wood said she would make the list public since the identities of clients, in most instances, are not protected by attorney-client privilege.
Cohen’s clientele became an issue after the government raided his home, hotel room, and office on April 9th. At the time, Cohen sought a temporary restraining order to prohibit the government from reviewing any of the documents, claiming attorney-client privilege.
Here’s where things get interesting. Cohen has apparently been specializing in making hush money payments to individuals alleged to have had affairs with high-profile personalities.
More from the report:
From 2017 to 2018, Cohen said he was back in private practice and had only 10 clients. Seven of those were not legal clients and Cohen didn’t disclose their names. Two of the remaining three clients were Donald Trump and Elliot Broidy. Cohen’s relationship with Broidy was disclosed last week by the Wall Street Journal, which reported that Cohen helped negotiate a $1.6 million hush money agreement between Broidy, a top Trump fundraiser, and a Playboy Playmate who he impregnated.
The third client, whom Cohen refused to disclose, is presumably involved in some kind of sexual debauchery. At least, that’s the suspicion. Now, imagine our surprise when we learned who the third client is!
Michael Cohen’s previously unnamed third client is SEAN HANNITY.

#BREAKING: Sean Hannity is the mysterious third client that Michael Cohen fought to keep a secret https://t.co/6CtZGCpDI2

But does this mean Hannity employed Cohen to cover up some kind of sexual misdeed? We don’t know. Of course, liberals will imply as much. But we’ll have to wait and see if there’s any more evidence to conclude as much.
What do you think? Does this look bad for Sean Hannity? Tell us your thoughts below!
UPDATE – Hannity addressed the news on radio just now:
Sean Hannity just now on the radio “I’m going to have to decide if I’m going to put out a statement here.”

2. Hannity is playing long clips from the Comey interview right now. He would do this regardless…

3. A source familiar with the representation tells CNN that what Hannity hired Cohen for did not involve a 3rd party – meaning an NDA involving a woman etc.

UPDATE 2 – Sean Hannity has released a statement on Cohen:
Michael Cohen has never represented me in any matter. I never retained him, received an invoice, or paid legal fees. I have occasionally had brief discussions with him about legal questions about which I wanted his input and perspective.
