Add First Lady Melania Trump to the ever-growing list of people calling out Omarosa Manigault Newman for her lies in her forthcoming book, “Unhinged.”
Melania’s office issued a statement refuting claims from Omarosa that she is seeking a divorce from the President and suggesting the former White House aide should be more grateful for the opportunities Trump had given her. Manigault Newman did a marriage analysis of the First Couple, according to excerpts from the book, and decided that due to her husband’s alleged affairs, Melania is chomping at the bit to get out.
“In my opinion, Melania is counting every minute until he is out of office and she can divorce him,” she wrote.
Omarosa would go on to suggest that should the First Lady leave him while in office, the President might counter by invalidating her citizenship.

Serious question – does Omarosa’s mind work like that of a child, responding with absurd allegations that are easily dismissed as petulant?
First off, does anyone really believe Trump would invalidate Melania’s citizenship and two, does anyone really think he’d have that ability?
The former White House insider and reality TV star also indicated that Melania’s fashion choices – particularly her infamous ‘I really don’t care, do you?’ jacket incident – was a means of punishment for the President.
“I believe Melania uses style to punish her husband,” she writes.
“At any time, if she so desired, she could humiliate him in public with small, ambiguous gestures, just as he’d openly humiliated her with his affairs and lascivious behavior for years.”

How does Omarosa know so much about Melania’s inner-thinking?
According to the former “Apprentice” star, she and the First Lady “always had a great connection.”
Mrs. Trump’s office issued a statement to the contrary, nuking Omarosa’s claims by dismissing the fact that they had ever really interacted with each other at all.
Her communications director, Stephanie Grisham, told the Washington Examiner that the first lady “rarely, if ever, interacted” with Manigault Newman.
Grisham didn’t stop there, oh no, claiming Omarosa probably should have considered being slightly more thankful for the opportunities she had been given.
“It’s disappointing to her that she is lashing out and retaliating in such a self-serving way, especially after all the opportunities given to her by the President,” she said.

Melania’s office statement is just the latest in a string of vehement denials from people named in Omarosa’s book who believe she is flat-out lying in most cases.
George Conway, the husband of White House counselor Kellyanne Conway, squashed a story about President Trump using racial epithets in addressing him. (RELATED: George Conway Slaps Down Omarosa’s Claim That Trump Called Him a Racial Slur).
