There have been more leaks from the Trump White House than any other administration in U.S. history, but that didn’t stop some of the craziest liberal pundits from speculating the worst about Melania Trump’s disappearance from the public following a surgery. While most rational observers would attribute a person’s disappearance from the public eye following a surgery to the surgery, some of the geniuses in the mainstream media thought otherwise, and that there was somehow a story here. CNN’s Brian Stelter couldn’t help but speculate that perhaps there was an unknown *true* reason we hadn’t seen Melania in 24 days (at the time).

Did Fox News ever pay attention to tracking how often Michelle Obama was in the public eye? Of course not.
Some kooks went as far as to tweet out an article that speculated Melania was being physically abused by President Trump, hence her disappearance from the public sphere.

Considering that Kelly Sadler’s dumb joke about John McCain’s brain cancer in a meeting was leaked to the press and ignited a firestorm (leading to her stepping down), are we supposed to believe that a beating in the Oval Office wouldn’t be leaked?
Are we to believe that every single medical professional that would’ve treated Melania would resist the temptation of breaking a story that would end Trump’s presidency?
Obviously not.
Not only did Melania make an appearance back into the public last week after her 25-day absence, she’s looking better than ever.
According to the Daily Mail: “First Lady Melania Trump stepped out solo Sunday night to attend an annual gala in Washington DC as her husband landed in Singapore ahead of the highly-anticipated meeting with Kim Jong-un.” Melania came wearing a black Escada gown, and served as Honorary Chair for the gala at Ford Theater, which paid tribute to former President Abraham Lincoln. Speaking at the end of the program, she congratulated the recipients of this year’s Lincoln Medal, which is awarded to people “who have exemplified the legacy of President Lincoln through their achievements and bodies of work.”
“I was honored to be part of such a special evening,” Melania said in a statement. “Tonight reminds all of us about the power the arts have in cultivating the American voice. Thank you to Ford’s Theatre Society for tonight, and your continued dedication to education and leadership in the arts — the impact they have on society is invaluable and something we will continue to cherish throughout time.”
