The former Fox News host Megyn Kelly is speaking out this week to slam the singer Taylor Swift for her negative reaction to the comedian host Jo Koy telling a joke about her at the Golden Globe Awards on Sunday night.

Kelly Sounds Off On Swift

Page Six reported that Swift, 34, was seen glaring at Koy, 52, after he joked that the Golden Globes used “fewer camera shots” of the “Anti-Hero” singer than NFL games, where she has been seen cheering on her boyfriend Travis Kelce in recent weeks.

“Can’t she just like show that she’s a good sport? I think she made the wrong move,” Kelly, 53, said on her SiriusXM show on Monday, adding that Koy’s joke was simply a “gentle swipe.”

“By the way, she’s not in charge with the number of times the NFL chooses to put her on cam. That’s not her fault,” she continued. “It is annoying, and if she were smart, she would laugh like she was in on the joke.”

Kelly went on to say that if she were Swift’s “adviser,” she would have told her to be a good sport about the joke to show that she understands that the NFL’s visual coverage of her has “been a bit much.”

“[Her facial expression] looked like ‘How dare you question me and my popularity,’” Kelly concluded.

Kelly Calls For Swift Boycott

This comes one month after Kelly called for Swift to be boycotted after the singer attended a charity event that benefitted a Gaza charity.

“You clearly know nothing,” Kelly said, addressing Swift directly in her rant. “You know what they do to that community in Gaza, Taylor, that you now want to support?”

“You know what Hamas likes to do to women?” she added. “You think we have equal rights over there, Taylor?”

Kelly was outraged after Swift was spotted at a Ramy Youssef show at the Brooklyn Academy of Music, with the benefits from it going to the American Near East Refugee Aid (ANERA). Kelly described this organization as being “highly political, presenting a highly biased view of the Israel/Palestine war, ignoring any Palestinian responsibility for hardship, and contributing to the demonization of Israel.”

“That is the group Taylor Swift thought it might be fun to help raise money for, attend a fundraiser for, and she owes Israelis and Jewish Americans an apology,” Kelly concluded. “And I hope they boycott her events until she issues it because attending this thing was wrong. It was wrong.”

Koy Defends Swift Joke

After the Golden Globes, Koy defended his joke about Swift as he addressed the backlash.

“Aww, man, it was cute. I was just saying it was cute,” Koy told Entertainment Tonight. “I was just saying it’s less cutaways, that’s all.”

Swift has also defended herself when it comes to controversy over the way that the NFL covers her attendance of Kelce’s games.

“I’m just there to support Travis,” Swift recently said. “I have no awareness of if I’m being shown too much and pissing off a few dads, Brads, and Chads.”
