Rep. Maxine Waters claims former President Donald Trump should face premeditated murder charges for his alleged role in the Capitol riots last month.
The startling accusation came during an interview between the California Democrat and MSNBC host Joy Reid.
Waters began the segment by stating without evidence that Trump “had advance planning” of the invasion on the Capitol.
“There’s information that some of the planning came out of individuals working in his campaign,” she continued.
“As a matter of fact, he absolutely should be charged with premeditated murder because of the lives that were lost with this invasion, with this insurrection.”

Maxine Waters Wants Trump Charged With Murder
As per usual, Maxine Waters’ comments are well beneath the office she holds. An individual with such a staggeringly low IQ and a complete inability to comprehend the facts or the definition of something basic like ‘premeditated murder’ has no business in Congress.
During his speech on January 6th, the former President encouraged his supporters to march to the Capitol and “peacefully and patriotically make your voices heard.”
If anything, that is a clear defense of his supposed role in inciting violence.
And there was no “insurrection.” That is simply a word that the media has latched onto as a means to paint Trump supporters as racist traitors.
They never used the word when leftists lay siege to a federal courthouse in Portland for months this past summer. They didn’t use that word when leftist protesters attacked the White House, forcing the former President to be escorted to a bunker by Secret Service.
This is a blatant assault on the character of a group of people simply for their political beliefs.
This would be the same Maxine Waters who literally urged a crowd to commit violence against Republicans.

Maxine’s Own Role in the Violence
Using the Maxine standard of law and order, she herself should be charged with premeditated murder for her role in the death of a Trump supporter in Portland.
This is, after all, the same woman who told her followers that if they see Trump supporters “in a department store, at a gasoline station, you get out and you create a crowd, and you push back on them, and you tell them they’re not welcome anymore, anywhere.”

Waters would later admit she stays on the offensive and threatens supporters of Donald Trump “all the time.”
“The lying president said that I had threatened all of his constituents,” Waters claimed. “I did not threaten his constituents, his supporters. I do that all the time, but I didn’t do it that time.”

Let’s face facts – if Democrats weren’t encouraging violence and harassment against Trump supporters for just about four years, then the Capitol riots likely never happen.
As far adrift as Waters’ mind is, Michael Sherwin, the acting U.S. Attorney for D.C., repeatedly assured reporters in a press call that he would investigate and charge “all actors” involved in the riots.
“We’re looking at all actors here, and anyone that had a role and the evidence fits the elements of a crime, they’re going to be charged,” Sherwin said.
Rep. Waters has previously fantasized that Trump “needs to be imprisoned and placed in solitary confinement.”
