It looks like Maxine Waters (D-CA) has finally found a platform other than impeaching Donald Trump to run on.
Should Democrats win back the House and the Senate in 2018, Waters said she’d be ‘happy’ to pursue and support legislation that would provide financial reparations for African-Americans.
In what many prodded her to claim was a ‘stump speech for 2020,’ the intellectually void Democrat told a crowd in Selma, Alabama, that the concept of reparations is one she would highly consider.
When asked about previous legislation offered by disgraced former congressman John Conyers, whose belief is that black Americans are owed some sort of monetary compensation due to slavery that was abolished in 1865, Maxine was all in.
“I’d be happy to do that,” Waters said of reparations. “That’s no problem.”
She added, however, that this could only happen if Democrats regain control of Congress.
“In order to get where we need to go on this issue and other issues, we really got to understand that 2018 is important in taking back the House and taking back the Senate,” Waters said.
She then added, “And of course, we’ve got to get the White House back.”

The reparations bill mentioned by the attendee at this forum is H.R. 40, a bill that would establish a commission to examine the institution of slavery in America and its early colonies, and recommend appropriate remedies.
“If we want to get to the point where we can get reparations, we’ve got to have the power to do that, Number 1, by having a supportive president would be wonderful, but taking back the House would be absolutely wonderful,” Waters said.
Maxine is amazing. Is it ok to call her Ms. Adam Schiff? They both seem to lack the slightest hint of integrity. Did they both get rich while in Congress? Go away Max!

Perhaps somebody should have reminded Waters that President Trump has done more to help the black community in one year than the previous president did in eight.
A poll conducted in 2016 showed nearly seven in 10 Americans oppose paying reparations to African Americans.
