Maxine Waters has come up with her thousandth reason for calling Donald Trump racist: because Trump suggested that she has a low IQ.
The remark came at the annual Gridiron Club Dinner, which is known for having the President read joke-filled remarks, some of which are usually self-deprecating. He had plenty of those, but it’s Trump’s comments about Rep. Waters that attracted your usual internet outrage.
Trump said: “How about that one? Maxine Waters, ‘He must be impeached!’ That’s all she knows how to say, ‘He must be impeached!’ Impeached! … But he’s done nothing wrong. Doesn’t matter, they say. What has he done wrong? ‘I don’t know! You got to be impeached!’ … And then I say … I get in trouble for this, ‘She has to immediately, take an IQ test.’ And people go crazy.”
MSNBC’s Matthew Miller was the first notable person from the outrage brigade to pretend the comments were racist:
Trump made an incredibly racist crack about Maxine Waters needing to take an IQ test tonight at the Gridiron and it has barely even registered a mention in coverage of the event. An appalling moment that I can’t believe isn’t everyone’s lead takeaway.

Maxine went on MSNBC’s “AM Joy,” hosted by the network’s race-baiter-in-chief Joy Reid, to complain about the “racist” comments the following morning.
.@REPMAXINEWATERS on #Trump: This president has been called stupid, ignorant, and even his secretary of state did not deny that he called him a moron… I certainly expected him to come out with some racist remarks about me and by the way I’m told he wasn’t funny at all #AMJoy pic.twitter.com/aoU5CXiEXv

According to BizPacReview,
The lawmaker’s sense of humor was lacking as she declared that the president was racist for questioning her mental agility… before questioning HIS mental agility!
“Well, you know, this president has been called stupid, he has been called ignorant, and even his secretary of state did not deny that he called him a moron,” Waters said. “And so he has no credibility. He has been name calling, he’s been saying all kinds of things.”
“I certainly expected him to come out with some racist remarks about me,” she said. “So he did exactly what I expected him do. And, by the way, I’m told he wasn’t funny at all.”
She didn’t let it end there, and continued to milk the invented controversy on Twitter. “We might also inquire of Stormy Daniels about Trump’s mental state since she has observed him up close,” she wrote, referencing the adult-film star who claimed to have had an affair with Trump.
We might also inquire of Stormy Daniels about Trump's mental state since she has observed him up close. I'm sure she could give us a revealing interpretation of her observations.

She then called for impeachment for the millionth time.
Imagine the President of the United States rolling around the West Wing, disoriented, ranting, angry, carrying on and paranoid, dreaming up public policy — it's a dangerous thing for America. Get ready for impeachment!

For the record, the first time she called for Trump’s impeachment was before the inauguration.
