Maxine Waters Claims Trump ‘Setting Some of Us Up to Be Killed’

Maxine Waters, during an interview on MSNBC, claimed President Trump is trying to incite a Civil War and “setting some of us up to be killed.”

Waters’ comments were loosely referencing his criticism of the Ukraine leaker and a quote that the President shared suggesting a “civil war-like fracture” will be the end result of the Democrats push for impeachment and his removal from office.

“He should not be going after anybody,” Waters told host Ali Velshi. “He is the president of the United States of America. He is setting some of us up to be killed. I have death threats constantly.”

And your unhinged commentary that Trump is a hardcore felon isn’t putting him in harm’s way? Please.

“Impeachment is not good enough for Trump,” Waters recently suggested. “He needs to be imprisoned & placed in solitary confinement.”

We’re sure none of the left’s unhinged resistance movement would take unceasing references to the President as a felon, Nazi, or racist as a call to arms, right?

The California Democrat, who spent the better part of the last three years calling on her supporters to harass Republicans in public spaces, also complained that Trump’s rhetoric is making visits to the grocery store difficult.

“I mean, I can’t go to the grocery store anymore by myself,” alleged Waters. “I have to pay for security all the time. I can’t move around the country without security.”

It’s as if Maxine isn’t aware of a thing called the internet where people can look up her own words inciting violence against Trump supporters. Waters was the first to take the rhetoric up a notch, telling supporters to harass administration officials in public every chance they get.

“If you see anybody from that Cabinet in a restaurant, in a department store, at a gasoline station, you get out and you create a crowd, and you push back on them, and you tell them they’re not welcome anymore, anywhere,” she said.

Waters would later call on her fellow resistance members to take to the streets screaming and calling for Trump’s head.

“I think he’s dangerous,” she professed, “I don’t know why people take it. I think Americans should be out in the streets screaming to the top of their voice. Do something. Make something happen.”

Sorry, Mad Max. You don’t get to call for violence against the President and his supporters then claim the moral high ground and victimhood months later.
