At a recent town hall meeting with constituents in California, Rep. Maxine Waters took a breath from chanting about impeaching President Trump to attack Secretary of Housing and Urban Development Dr. Ben Carson.
Waters sneered that Carson should go back to being a surgeon, and threatened that if he goes before the House Committee on Financial Services again, where she serves as ranking Democrat, that she’ll “take him apart.”
First of all, Auntie Maxine, it’s totally hilarious you went with the ‘go back to being a surgeon’ take because the political world is too difficult for him to navigate. The man is a brain surgeon. You’re a walking PSA warning others what liberalism can do to your brain. Major difference.
Second, if somebody threatened to take Waters apart, she’d be crying racism from now until the sun came up.
Bet Carson won’t take that direction.
Via the Free Beacon:
At the town hall in Gardena, Calif., Waters said that Carson should go back to his former profession of being a surgeon, the Los Angeles Times reports.
Waters also told the crowd that the next time Carson went before the House Financial Services Committee, she would “take him apart.” Waters is the top Democrat on that committee.
One woman in the audience carrying a sign that read “Impeach Mad Max” was yelling that Waters had to go. Waters responded by leading the chant “Impeach 45.” The chant lasted for over four minutes while her supporters gathered around the woman with the sign.
“Stay woke,” Waters said.

Considering Waters has been reduced to two-word chants like ‘impeach 45’ and ‘stay woke,’ we like Carson’s odds of standing strong against her in a battle of wits.
Classy, brainy, tough, and kind Dr. Ben Carson should have no trouble with Mean Maxine. Maxine has become deluded.

Democrats have had Carson under their skin ever since he said that poverty could largely be considered a “state of mind.”
Perhaps they should be slightly more concerned with their own states of mind. – a state where they’ve become so distraught over the Trump presidency that they attack men of good moral character like Dr. Carson.
A little self-reflection for those threatening to ‘tear him apart’ is in order.
We won’t hold our breath.
