The Hollywood star Mark Wahlberg announced a few months ago that he was leaving the woke liberal state of California to give his four children “a better life” in Nevada. Now that he’s settled into his new home, Wahlberg has announced that he wants to create a new “Hollywood 2.0” in Nevada.

Wahlberg Wants To Launch Hollywood 2.0
Daily Mail reported that Wahlberg, 52, is pushing for lawmakers in Nevada to pass a bill that would increase tax credits for film production from $10 million per year to a whopping $190 million per year over the course of the next two decades.
“I would love to see us building studios, creating jobs and just diversifying the economy,” Wahlberg told CNBC. “I’ve moved my last film here. I’m shooting another film here coming up in the summertime.”
“I think there’s so much more opportunity to be created here,” he continued. “There’s so much growth and so much potential, it’s a wonderful opportunity for everybody to prosper.”
Last year, Wahlberg became the latest in a long line of celebrities to flee California after the liberal state became overrun with rampant crime, homelessness, and high taxes. He told Fox Business back in March that his goal is to create a new Hollywood in Nevada.
“We’re looking to create 10,000 jobs on the studio alone,” he said. “The average salary would be $100,000 more than what it is now. We want to train people both in front of and behind the camera, create jobs, most importantly, first and foremost, for locals.”

Wahlberg Has No Regrets
Though Wahlberg, who was born and raised in Massachusetts, lived in California for over a decade, he doesn’t seem to have any regrets about fleeing the state.
“I want to be able to work from home. I moved to California many years ago to pursue acting and I’ve only made a couple of movies in the entire time that I was there,” he explained.
“So, to be able to give my kids a better life and follow and pursue their dreams whether it be my daughter as an equestrian, my son as a basketball player, my younger son as a golfer, this made a lot more sense for us,” he continued. “We came here to just kind of give ourselves a new look, a fresh start for the kids, and there’s lot of opportunity here. I’m really excited about the future.”
Wahlberg went on to praise Nevada’s Republican Gov. Joe Lombardo for his efforts to boost the economy in the state.
“There’s lots of opportunity for growth here, and the government, especially our new governor, is really looking for opportunities to create jobs outside of gaming,” he said.

‘Best Of Both Worlds’
Wahlberg and his wife Rhea Durham, 44, are parents to daughters Ella, 19, and Grace, 13, and sons Michael, 17, Brendan, 14.
“It’s really giving the kids a chance to thrive,” Wahlberg told Fox News. “It just has the best of both worlds. I know a lot of people, when they think Las Vegas, they think the Strip. But just about 15, 20 minutes away, there’s a whole lot of other amazing areas that are all about family and community.”

California is currently in the midst of a mass exodus thanks in large part to the leftwing policies that are making life in the state unbearable for many. If the Democrats running California not change their ways soon, they can only expect more people to flee just as Wahlberg has done!
