Republicans far and wide have been shunned in public at ridiculous levels in the era of President Trump. It began long before, but Democrat Rep. Maxine Waters helped facilitate the public shaming by urging her followers to “push back” on her political opponents.
“If you see anybody from that Cabinet in a restaurant, in a department store, at a gasoline station, you get out and you create a crowd, and you push back on them, and you tell them they’re not welcome anymore, anywhere,” she famously declared.
Waters then followed that up by generalizing her threats even further, saying support for the President is tantamount to racism and urging already unhinged liberals to take to the “streets screaming to the top of their voice.”
As a result, White House Press Secretary Sarah Sanders was refused service at a restaurant she went to with her family. Homeland Security Secretary Kirstjen Nielsen was chased out of a Mexican restaurant. Florida Attorney General Pam Bondi was chased out of a screening of a movie about Mr. Rogers. And White House Senior Adviser Stephen Miller was cursed at and chased out of a sushi restaurant.
Not to mention, a judge in New York ruled that a bar could legally discriminate against Trump supporters, specifically anyone wearing a ‘Make America Great Again’ hat.
So here’s a little story about one Republican who was refused a drink at a bar … and was perfectly okay with it.

The Republican in a Bar Who Refused to Get Mad
A union boss walks into a bar from the factory next door. He is about to order a beer when he notices a guy at the far end of the bar wearing a TRUMP “Make America Great Again” cap, two beers sitting in front of him.
The union boss doesn’t need a rocket scientist to know that this guy is a Republican, so he shouts over to the bartender loud enough for everyone can hear:
“Drinks for everyone in here, bartender … but not for the ‘Republican’!”
Soon after the drinks have been handed out, the Republican gives him a big smile, waves at him then says, “Thank you!” in an equally loud voice.
This infuriates the union boss.
After a few minutes, the union boss once again loudly orders drinks for everyone except the Republican. As before, this doesn’t seem to bother the Republican. He nods and smiles, and again yells, “Thank you!”
A few more minutes pass and the union boss orders another round of drinks for everyone except the Republican.
Just as before, this STILL doesn’t seem to faze the Republican who continues smiling and again yells out, “Thank you!!”
Frustrated that he can’t seem to get the guy angered, the union boss asks the bartender, “What is wrong with that Republican? I’ve ordered three rounds of drinks for everyone in the bar but him, and all the dummy does is smile and thank me. Is he nuts?”
“Nope,” replies the bartender. “He owns the place.”
Haha!
A recent study by the Small Business Administration indicates that Republicans are 24 percent more likely than Democrats to be business owners, and that most small business owners vote Republican.
So next time you’re trying to shun or shame a Republican in a bar or restaurant, you might want to think twice.
He or she just might turn out to be the owner!
