Public figures face all sorts of dangers – including people wanting to kill them.
It unfortunately comes with the territory, especially in our time, and it just came to popular Republican presidential candidate Vivek Ramaswamy.
‘Another Opportunity for Me to Blow His Brains Out’
A man from Dover, New Hampshire let his emotions get the best of him, which prompted visits and the attention of authorities.
The Daily Caller reports:
Tyler Anderson, 30, was arrested and charged with âtransmitting in interstate commerce a threat to injure the person of anotherâ after allegedly texting out threats to kill Ramaswamy to his campaign[,] …
Anderson allegedly sent the threat when he replied to a text message sent to the masses by Ramaswamyâs campaign, which informed residents in the key battleground state about an upcoming political event set to take place in Portsmouth, New Hampshire, the release read.
The threats are graphic and violent. According to the U.S. Attorney’s office in New Hampshire, Anderson sent text messages reading, âGreat, another opportunity for me to blow his brains out!â and âIâm going to kill everyone who attends and then f*** their corpses.â
And so it goes in America in 2023.
Many Dangers
At the end of November, Ramaswamy spoke with a man who claimed to be a former FBI agent who urged the Republican candidate to “be careful” and to “get some very, very competent help…”
Conservative pundit Charlie Kirk wondered if the man was warning him about other people wanting to possibly harm him – or even the FBI?

People Wanting to Hurt Politicians Could Be Anywhere – So Stay Safe!
Ramaswamy shared on X after the meeting, “I met a former FBI agent and his wife on the campaign trail here in Iowa. They agree with me: we need to root out the corruption & shut down the FBI. At the local level, we have police & prosecutors. At the federal level, we have U.S. marshals & the DOJ.”
Politics is a nasty business but no one should feel physically threatened.
Stay safe, Vivek.
