LeBron James has turned into a bitter, perpetually angry, whining, social justice warrior in recent years.
He’s keeping that trend going today, and chimed in on the controversy surrounding President Trump and the Super Bowl Champion Philadelphia Eagles.
The President rescinded an invite for the traditional White House visit for sports champions upon discovering that only a small number of players intended to show up.
“The Philadelphia Eagles Football Team was invited to the White House,” Trump tweeted. “Unfortunately, only a small number of players decided to come, and we canceled the event.” (RELATED: Trump Cancels Super Bowl Champion Eagles’ Visit – Taunts NFL Players for Kneeling During National Anthem).
James was asked to weigh in on the controversy. He unloaded on Trump, then added a prediction that whichever team wins the NBA championship, neither one had any intention of visiting the White House.
“It’s typical of him. I’m not surprised,” James told reporters. “I know no matter who wins this series, no one wants an invite anyway. It won’t be Cleveland or Golden State going.”

He added that winning a championship is his primary goal, something LeBron has done half as often as Michael Jordan and many times less than Bill Russell.
“Winning a championship is way bigger than getting invited to the White House, especially with him in it,” James sneered.

James has been triggered by President Trump several times previously. (RELATED: LeBron James: President Trump ‘Don’t Give a **** About the People’).
In a recorded segment in February, James told ESPN’s Cari Champion and basketball star Kevin Durant that Trump doesn’t “give a f***” about Americans.”
He also appeared on a Sports Illustrated cover alongside other stars all allegedly united against Trump. (RELATED: Sports Illustrated Cover Depicts Athletes United Against Trump).
In 2017, he called the President a “bum” for rescinding an invitation to Golden State Warriors star Stephen Curry. And he supposedly took a shot at him by wearing “equality” sneakers during a game in Washington. (RELATED: Lebron James Takes Shot at Trump With ‘Equality’ Sneakers).
Maybe LeBron should consider taking Laura Ingraham’s advice after all.
