Lauren Boebert Taunts AOC With ‘Let’s Go Brandon’ Dress As She Meets Trump At Mar-a-Lago

Representative Lauren Boebert taunted AOC with a dress featuring the phrase "Let's Go Brandon" as she met former President Trump at his Mar-a-Lago resort.

Representative Lauren Boebert taunted far-left ‘Squad’ member AOC with a dress featuring the phrase “Let’s Go Brandon” as she met former President Trump at his Mar-a-Lago resort Thursday.

The dress design was a not-so-subtle jab at the dress worn by Ocasio-Cortez (D-NY) at last month’s Met Gala, where she turned heads in a designer gown with the words “Tax The Rich” written on the back.

Boebert (R-CO) showed off her dress in a similar pose to AOC’s viral image, standing alongside Trump who flashed his trademark thumbs up.

Her gown, however, was a bright red with white lettering, likely an intentional move both to symbolize GOP red and the fact that she is very much the opposite of AOC.

Boebert tweeted the image saying, “It’s not a phrase, it’s a movement.”

Boebert: Let’s Go Brandon!

Judging by the election results earlier this week, America seems to be more in tune with Boebert’s ‘Let’s Go Brandon’ message than they are with AOC’s ‘Tax the Rich’ catchphrase.

‘Let’s Go Brandon,’ for those living under a rock for the past several months, is a euphemism for the more vulgar phrase – ‘F*** Joe Biden.’

While Boebert likely can walk the walk when it comes to her message, AOC struggled mightily with hers, debuting it at an event exclusively attended by the super-rich and having her dress designed by someone who ironically owes a lot of unpaid taxes.

Not to mention, the Colorado Republican’s dress looks significantly less like a Chick-Fil-A bag.

It’s A Movement

The phrase ‘Let’s Go Brandon,’ aside from appearing on Boebert’s dress, has been turning up everywhere, a cultural phenomenon sweeping the nation.

It has shown up at sporting events. It has shown up at awards ceremonies. It has shown up in Congress. And it has now shown up on products being sold by gun dealers.

Songs featuring the phrase have been topping charts as well.

Last week, the top song on the iTunes chart was “Let’s Go Brandon (feat. Tyson James & Chandler Crump)” by Bryson Gray, a song originally banned from YouTube and Instagram.

“The phrase has spread like wildfire across social media, as well as the internet, for two key reasons,” BGR News explains.

“One is that … the phase serves as a kind of euphemistic stand-in for a more vulgar insult to President Biden,” they continue. “Tell a Biden critic ‘Let’s go, Brandon,’ and he or she will know exactly what you mean.”

Boebert last week posted a video of herself listening to Gray’s “Let’s Go Brandon” song.

Florida Governor Ron DeSantis recently poked fun at the “Brandon administration,” prompting the crowd at his press conference to break into a “Let’s Go Brandon” chant.

“If you look at what’s going on with some of the big corporations with their woke agenda,” DeSantis said. “When you look at the Biden — the Brandon administration.”

Those in attendance erupted almost immediately.
