Kyrsten Sinema, the moderate Arizona senator who late last year left the Democrat Party to become an Independent, has reportedly been trash-talking her former party while attending GOP-led events.
Politico reporter Jonathan Martin documented some of her most eyebrow-raising comments – and gestures – being made before an actual audience.
Sinema told a group of Republican lobbyists earlier this year that she stopped attending the Democrats’ “dumb luncheons” because of how “ridiculous” they are.
“Old dudes are eating Jell-O, everyone is talking about how great they are,” Sinema lamented. “I don’t really need to be there for that. That’s an hour and a half twice a week that I can get back.”

Sinema Gives Ron Klain the Finger
Aside from describing Democrat luncheons as an ‘old dudes eating Jello’ party, the Politico report also recalls an incident where Sinema literally offered a middle finger to the White House.
The senator recalled a time in which she was encouraged by a White House aide via telephone to make sure she had whipped up the necessary votes for a Biden judicial nominee.
“That was Klain,” she told the room of GOP lobbyists, referring to former White House Chief of Staff Ron Klain.

That’s when, Martin reported, “She quickly flashed her middle finger in the air to demonstrate what she thinks of the powerful and now-departed White House chief of staff.”
Kyrsten Sinema gave Ron Klain a symbolic middle finger and called her Democratic colleagues “old dudes eating Jell-O” at a fundraiser with Republican donors.

Sinema a Thorn in the Side of Democrats?
Senator Kyrsten Sinema tends to talk out of both sides of her mouth in an effort to appear bipartisan. She noted that she has stopped caucusing with Democrats but, “I’m formally aligned with the Democrats for committee purposes.”
This past August she held the line for a bit in opposing the Democrats on their massive climate change spending and tax hike bill, humorously dubbed the ‘Inflation Reduction Act.’
After they tossed her a couple of Arizona-specific bones, however, she folded.

Her willingness to cave so easily should be a warning sign to Republicans trying to cozy up to Sinema in the hopes that she flips party affiliation.
Still, she does point out hypocrisy every once in a while with the Democrat Party.
Sinema repeatedly reminded Democrats, who had referred to the filibuster as a ‘relic of the Jim Crow era,’ that their own party made liberal use of the tactic when it suited their needs.
“Protections in the Senate safeguarding against the erosion of women’s access to health care have been used half-a-dozen times in the past ten years, and are more important now than ever,” she previously said.
Sinema delivers criticism in bipartisan form as well. She recently referred to Republicans who vocalized their disdain for President Biden during his State of the Union speech as “disturbing and sad.”

You can’t buy class, or fashion sense, apparently.
Why is it, do you suppose, most of our elected officials (the ones in charge, it seems) are eligible for the ‘senior discount’? (smh)
My mother told me never to be “lookist,” but Sinema, who looks like nothing so much as she does Big Bird, has not done her homework. The average age of Republicans in the House and Senate is higher than that of Democrats in the same bodies. Were she describing Republicans, then she would have to describe them as “old dudes GUMMING Jello.” However, the caged bird can’t bite the hand that feeds her, so she’ll be silent in that regard.
Sinema is not a moderate she votes with the dems the vast majority of the time
.. Simema is trying to survive in red AZ by trashing her party and going .. so called independent. He current voting record is far left like her party. She voted for the Inflation Act which is nothing but a Green Energy scam to steal billions and hobble our economy in the face of a highly aggressive communist chinese drive in America. She votes gun control and more taxes. She will do whatever Chuckie tells her. Then she runs to RINO consultants. Look at her voting record not what the dingbat says.
Eating Jello? She’s too kind. What they eat also can float.
