Former Fox News Analyst: White Women Who Voted for Trump Are Racists

CNN political analyst Kirsten Powers, formerly of Fox News, claimed that all white women who voted for Donald Trump are racist during a panel hosted by Don Lemon.

Powers particularly targeted those who felt they had to select Trump because Hillary Clinton was simply a terrible candidate whom they could never support.

Starting with the false premise that the President uses racist language, she argued that casting a vote in his favor was a vote cast in favor of that language, and by extension, his alleged racist motivations.

Powers would double down on the comments, saying “If you support somebody that’s racist, that makes you racist. So, I just want to establish that.”

Guess that makes anyone who voted for Barack Obama a racist. There is, after all, no other President in modern times who did more to damage race relations in America.

CNN host Don Lemon says white people are terrorists

It’s not surprising Powers would come to such an analysis on a network that perpetually portrays Trump supporters as racist, especially on a show hosted by Lemon, who recently stated white men are the biggest terror threat in America.

But it’s remarkable nonetheless.

It should also be noted that Powers also claimed that white women only voted for Trump because their husbands told them to.

“We have to remember that the white patriarchal system actually benefits white women in a lot of ways and they’re attached to white men who are benefiting from the system that was created by them, for them,” Powers asserted.

What happened to Kirsten Powers

There’s something about CNN that turns former Fox News analysts and Republicans into full-blown sufferers of Trump Derangement Syndrome. Take for example, Amanda Carpenter, former staffer for Senator Ted Cruz, who also labeled Republicans as racist quite recently.

Powers was a mainstay on Bill O’Reilly’s show and actually left Fox News because the former Factor host allegedly made inappropriate comments in her presence.

Powers had previously been a fairly level-headed and well-reasoned liberal, even criticizing those on the far-left who have tried to stifle free speech.

That said, she has long held the view that America is a fundamentally racist nation. Here she is in an insanely heated segment with O’Reilly defending that stance …

Powers, during that segment, said there are “a lot of people” in America that are racist, and not everybody is willing to acknowledge that.
