Kathy Griffin Says She Gets ‘Pleasure’ From Trump Being In Court – ‘I’ll Be Touring’

Kathy Griffin

The radically liberal comedian Kathy Griffin is speaking out in a new interview to talk about the “pleasure” she gets from Donald Trump being in court.

Griffin Gloats About Trump

“It has been wild; I’m canceled, I’m blacklisted, I’m toxic, nobody will touch me,” Griffin, 63, told What’s Up Newp. “And then I got a call from the folks who used to book me at The Mirage in Vegas, and they said we’d like to have you back for a couple of dates.”

“I don’t even mention Trump in this new show at all; it’s not that I’m scared or anything, it’s just that he will be in court, which gives me a little pleasure, I’ll be touring, while he’ll be in court,” she continued. “I’ll take that as a win.”

Griffin was infamously “cancelled” back in 2017 after she released a photo of herself standing with the severed head of the then-President Trump. Afterwards, she was interviewed by the Secret Service, something she is still bitter about to this day.

“I was apparently perceived as an actual threat to the life of the former administration,” she lamented. “It was just insanity.”

Griffin is currently on her “My Life on the PTSD List” tour, a reference to her bizarre belief that she is suffering from post-traumatic stress disorder, something that 23% of military veterans actually suffer from, over the fallout from her Trump photo.

“I thought you have to be like a combat veteran, but apparently you can get PTSD from, you know, when the president comes down on you and you’re on the no-fly list,” she recently told the Omaha World Herald. “I’ve got stories. (At the show) we’re going to talk about addiction and cancer and all the crazy stuff I do for my PTSD where I just look like a crazy person.”

Griffin Doubles Down

Griffin doubled down on her PTSD claim in her latest interview.

“The reason I call the show ‘My Life on the PTSD List’ is because I talk about all that stuff I went through. There’s a place for that, because there’s still some good healthy bad behavior,” she joked. “I also found in the handful of shows I’ve done, people actually do want to talk about cancer and prescription pill addiction.”

“I’m not planning on talking about my divorce because it’s so new, but I certainly am going to describe what it was like for me the first few days looking at the laundry machine and not knowing how it works,” she added. “I found, and this has been factually confirmed, I am too famous to do laundry.”

Griffin went on to provide more details about what her comedy shows are like.

“I say to the audience, clap your hands if you’ve ever been touched by addiction in any way, and most of the audience claps. So I tell stories about the 51/50 cycle, it was like Britney and Kanye combined, and parts of it were just funny. I legit didn’t know that the doors lock from the outside,” she said, referring to her hospital stay.

“It’s just funny that I would have, what they call in AA, your bottom, at age 59 years old; I mean, talk about a late bloomer. I couldn’t just be a normal person who overdosed when they were 20, 30 or 40,” she concluded.

Griffin Begs Fans To Come To Her Shows

Unfortunately for Griffin, however, it appears that she does not have much of an audience left. Last week, she resorted to begging fans to buy tickets to her show after admitting that they are “not selling well.”

“I’m gonna be honest with you guys. I had another voice surgery two days ago, so my voice is sounding better, I think. And yet, I have COVID and I’m heartbroken because I’m getting divorced,” Griffin said in a desperate video posted to social media. “It’s all about the tour, man. Just freaking get me to opening night in Des Moines. And Omaha is not selling well. First of all, there’s not enough people there.”

“I need comedy fans to come out and see me in Kansas City,” she continued. “Come on! I need sell-outs. I’ve been through hell. I’ve been through so much crap since my last tour. I actually just have to laugh at it. I just have to laugh. So please…”

Griffin’s latest comments about Trump show just how bitter she really is, so it’s no wonder that nobody wants to come to her comedy shows. What do you think of her recent remarks? Let us know in the comments section.
